Girls Who Code gets together after school on the first and third Mondays of every month. Our meetings include planning activities that revolve around languages of code and the basic building blocks of coding.
Getting into a club like Girls Who Code allows students to develop a love for coding at a young age. There is a 24% projected job growth in software development within the next 5 years. 18% of undergraduate computer and information sciences degrees are earned by girls. This number has grown exponentially and will hopefully continue to grow under the positive influence of clubs like UHS Girls Who Code.
